Privacy Policy
Most ToolPile utility pages run directly in your browser. For local-only tools, the text, images, passwords, hashes, QR content, UUIDs, or other values you enter are processed client-side and are not intentionally uploaded to our servers.
Information we collect
- Basic technical data such as IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, and security logs.
- Optional analytics events if you accept analytics cookies, such as page views, browser/device details, and aggregate interaction data.
- Account information if you sign in to ToolPile services: name, email, profile image, session identifiers, and authentication metadata.
- Support or abuse report messages you send to us, including optional email address and message content.
Local-first tool data
Pure frontend tools such as JSON Formatter, Base64, URL Encoder, Password Generator, UUID Generator, Hash Generator, JWT Decoder, QR Code Generator, and PNG to JPG are designed to process your input in the browser. Avoid entering secrets into any web tool unless you understand the risk.
Temporary File Transfer data
Temporary File Transfer intentionally uploads one allowed file to create a private transfer link. We store the file temporarily for up to 1 hour, along with limited metadata needed to operate the service and prevent abuse: filename, size, MIME/type checks, SHA-256 hash, creation and expiry timestamps, download/report counts, and hashed technical network identifiers.
File pages are not publicly listed. Download API responses are marked noindex and files are served as attachments. Reported or high-risk files may be disabled before expiry. Confirmed abusive file hashes may be retained in a blocklist to prevent re-upload.

We use data to provide the website, secure and debug the service, understand aggregate usage, answer support requests, prevent abuse, delete expired temporary files, and comply with legal obligations.
Retention and deletion
Temporary File Transfer files are scheduled to expire after 1 hour. Server, security, and abuse-prevention logs are retained for a limited period needed for operations, security, legal compliance, and troubleshooting.
